Expert Trainers

Coach Laura Long

Laura started CrossFit in 2012 when she was introduced to it by her husband Josh and couldn’t imagine a different fitness path now. She is primarily a 5th grade teacher which makes leading others in their fitness second nature. When she’s not at school or the gym she enjoys being outdoors with her dogs as well as playing golf.

Coach Josh Long
Josh grew up playing sports and developed an interest in weight training in high school. He started his fitness career in 2002 personal training at Firehouse Gym. He began transitioning to CrossFit and became a level 1 coach in 2011. He loves using functional training to help clients live a healthier life. He has gone on to obtain his level 2 in coaching CrossFit. After 20 plus years in the fitness industry, he feels that one of the best things about CrossFit is the fact it can be adjusted for any age and any fitness level.

Coach Michael Hall

Mike has been doing CrossFit for 10 years. He started because it was a different way to train and compete on a daily basis. Mike also coaches because he enjoys helping people become a better version of themselves.

Coach Amanda Pennel

Amanda found crossfit in 2020 and immediately fell in love. As someone who grew up an athlete and competed through college, crossfit has given her a new place to feel the same camaraderie that she had missed from her sports days. Amanda enjoys coaching and getting to play a small roll in the lives of people desiring to live a healthy lifestyle.

Coach Allison Channel

She works primarily as a Registered Nurse while completing her Masters degree in Family practice. When Allison is not at work or at school she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling around the South East supporting her daughters travel softball team.

Coach Denise And Coach Gary Rustad

Coach Denise has been doing CrossFit for over 10 years along with her husband Coach Gary. It has since become a family affair for them and their three kids. Spending 7 years as an elementary educator and the past 9 working in wellness she gets to enjoy blending both by coaching CrossFit Kids. Denise loves seeing people of any age, any athleticism, and with deep insecurities jump into CrossFit and grow their strength, endurance and confidence because they have a WOD family supporting and encouraging them every step of the way!
